Every year, thousands of horses circulate thru the kill lot pipeline. Sometimes these horses are taken in by rescues, individuals, or sanctuaries. Sometimes they spend days, weeks, even months going from auction to auction. During this time, they are exposed to disease, inhumane treatment, and awful trailering conditions. Unfortunately, many end up being sent to slaughter after being circulated thru the system.

Our goal is to help horses BEFORE they ever get the the slaughter pipeline. We seek out older horses and horses with health issues. Horses that have been failed by humans and need a soft place to land.
